Refund policy
We’re a Wyoming, USA–based small business specializing in natural antler chews and dehydrated treats. Your satisfaction matters to us, and we aim to keep our policy clear, fair, and hassle-free.
Quick Summary
- Return window: 14 days from the delivery date.
- Condition: Antler chews must be untouched and not chewed. Treats must be sealed in original packaging.
- Free returns: We provide a prepaid label for qualifying returns.
- Exclusions: Gift cards, final-sale items, and whole moose antlers (see below).
- Refund speed: Typically 3–5 business days after inspection (bank posting may take longer).
- Wrong/damaged item: Your choice of replacement (if available) or refund.
Eligibility & Condition Requirements
Because our products are chews and consumables, we can only accept items in new condition:
- Antler chews (elk, moose, deer, etc.): Must be untouched, not chewed, and returned in original condition (no tooth marks, wear, pet hair, odors, or damage).
- Dehydrated treats/chews: Must be sealed in the original bag—no exceptions.
Items that arrive chewed, used, or unsealed are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Return Window
You have 14 days from the delivery date to request a return for eligible items. After 14 days, we’re unable to accept returns.
How to Start a Return
- Email info@chewypawz.com with your order number, a brief description, and a clear photo of the item(s). Please keep your mailing packaging until we confirm next steps.
- If approved, we’ll send a prepaid return label for qualifying returns.
- Ship the item(s) back within 7 days of receiving your label. Pack securely to prevent damage in transit.
Who Pays for Return Shipping?
- We cover the return label for qualifying returns (eligible, unused/unchewed antlers and sealed treats initiated within the window).
- If the return does not meet our eligibility (chewed/used/unsealed/late), the customer is responsible for shipping and the item is not eligible for a refund or exchange.
Wrong, Damaged, or Defective Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We may request a photo of the item and packaging to assist with carrier claims.
Your choice: We can ship a replacement (if a comparable item is available) or issue a refund to your original payment method.
Refunds & Processing Time
- Once we receive and inspect the return, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or exchanged per your request.
- Refunds typically process within 3–5 business days after inspection. Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 3–10 business days to post the credit.
Exchanges
Prefer an exchange? If your return is eligible and a comparable item is available, we can process an exchange instead of a refund.
Non-Returnable Items
- Gift cards
- Final sale or clearance items (marked at checkout or on the product page)
- Whole moose antlers (due to size/weight variability and shipping considerations)
- Used/chewed antlers and opened treats (for health and safety reasons)
Packaging & Shipping Notes
Many antler chews are shipped without retail packaging. That’s normal for natural antlers. For returns, please ensure antlers are protected in transit; items damaged in return shipping may affect eligibility.
